Michael Cassata, CBI, M&AMI is an entrepreneurial executive with more than 20 years of experience building software and information technology companies. He has direct experience founding, owning, operating, selling and acquiring software and information technology companies. Starting in 1983-at age 25-Michael founded a software company that became a market leader in the healthcare industry.

In 1995, he sold his company to a market-leading public company. He then joined the acquiring company's executive management team and helped increase the company's revenue from $90 million to over $250 million through both organic growth and through managing the acquisition and integration of six companies.

In 1998, one of the largest software firms from the United Kingdom acquired the firm for over $900 million. In 1999, Michael founded Adventum Group and developed the Compass M&A Service based on his first-hand experiences as both a seller and buyer of companies.

Michael is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and has earned the recognition as a Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI).
